What Chinese Pens Are You Using Today?

Well, a capilliary fill P61 will write any way up, and I suspect in zero gravity too. With my P61 Capilliary I wrote for over an hour with the nib 2" above the end of the barrel. That won't happen with many FP's (or BP's for that matter).

What I was meaning was the pen rolled through 180 degrees so the back of the nib is being used as the writing surface.

Regards,

Richard.

Not using, but more of a "Chinese Pen Watch"

Hero 328. I really have my eye on them at the moment. Hooded nib, married with a Snorkelesque cap, and what looks like a telephone dialer at the end of the barrel!!

Wingsung 500 - because I've never used a Parker 75. Claimed M nib, and cartridge or squeeze converter.

that Fla Blue looks quite vibrant! it never looks that good out of my pens

I don't usually go for that shade of blue but this particular ink has grown on me just because it is so easy to clean up.

i have both.

the hero is smoother, but dries up more quickly. the dialing ball doesn't seem to work well on the cell phone screen........... (bad joke!!)

the cap of the WS feels cheap and the nib might appear a bit scratchy to some, but i like it more. now, it doesn't feel like a M nib, tho'...!!

Got my Hero 200a yesterday. Giving it a spin today. I'm impressed with the overall fit and finish. Nib needed a very slight bit of tweaking and it already feels much smoother. I like the F (Chinese M) line it's giving me.

i've been testing my Jin-rong (Guanleming) 191-1 to see if i can take it out tomorrow -since i just got it, i wanted to make sure it won't dry when it's nib up in my shirt pocket.

i find it interesting looking.

Jinhao X450 filled with R&K Verdigris. The colors in the Jinhao match the Verdigris almost perfectly. The nib is a buttery smooth, slightly wet Medium. The pic swiped from made-in-china.com shows my pen, number 450-6 at center.

My Duofold International in blue Jinhao Century Mk2 and my Kaigelu 323.

Just completed a review of the Jinhao here: https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/index.php?/topic/220345-jinhao-century-mk-2/ . The Jinhao is very impressive.

a black hero 616

Me, too! It's filled with Chesterfield Mahogany. I keep getting down to the last ink molecules and thinking, 'Gotta flush it, gotta flush it.' But I keep re-loading. And now I'm out of that ink. :crybaby:

Same thing with today's Guanleming Demonstrator. I keep thinking I need to flush it and it keeps getting refueled with some blue or other.

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

The Guanleming Demo does not clean out very well anyway, so keep it refueled. I have a nice green ring (PR Ebony Green) right at the top of the feed that will not come out. It might be stronger amonia water time.

A new Dolce Vita Naranja. (I'm easily influenced by glowing reports and shiny pictures.)

First day, so it's too early to tell much, but so far the pen is slightly toothy, a bit of a slow starter after it's been closed for a while, but once it's going a very consistent writer. Rather heavy, but decently balanced. And very good-looking.

A red Hero 616 inked with Diamine Midnight. Bought two since they were so cheap and figured the chance of getting a bad one was 50-50. Both were great, so the second one will be a gift with some ink for my mother for Mothers Day.

It does tend to dry out on me if I go more than a day without using it, and since its my bookbag pen and my note taking in class is pretty spotty at best, it tends to dry out a lot. But you cant really ask for a lot from such a cheap pen.

i put a thin coat of shellac (approx. 1/2" wide) on the section for better grip... works well!

First full day of writing with the Bookworm 675 I got yesterday. It writes so well, smooth, lays down lovely line. Still trying to decide wether I prefer it posted or not, each has it's own benefits.

Now waiting the arrival of another from the same ebay seller share.enjoy, this one!
