Only a Guanleming 2001 today. I loved these pens so much that I bought a couple more. I'm going to give one to my mum when I visit her-she loves hooded nibs and chinese pens.

Speaking of Guanleming! I've got the black one that's supposed to have a bit of flex loaded today (can't recall model number) and I'm making notes on an inventory tag.

Also have the Duke Clouds loaded with BSIAR. Amazing how that Duke writes so much wetter with JH Rouge Caroubier.

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

Nice discovery today while washing this pen out. The aerometric filler is actually a converter and removable. Made clean up much easier.

Just looked at the Jinhao 7502. Looke rather nice. May get one if I ever have a windfall.

Richard

Richard,

From a simple search, I believe it is a X750 in Ivory. Have one and they cost cheap then most Kaigelu. Could you post the link?

It's here:

You are right, it does look like a Jinhao X750.

Richard.

Now that is really interesting! The nib looks like one of those Sheaffer-derived Wing Sung nibs.

Thanks for the link.

yes, but it is not. it looks like a mix between sheaffer conical (tryumph) and an inlaid. i will say it is an inlaid nib that appears conical, but it doesn't wrap around... very interesting indeed!

i'm taking it out again today.

Using Hero 616 as it is my only Chinese fountain pen. Hoping to expand that sometime very soon!

The usual suspects:

Jinhao 159 with Polar Brown.

Jinhao Cetury with pharmacist's IG blue-black.

Jinhao 2008 Olympic with Tsvetaeva/Sun Never Sets 'Poppy' Remix...

Still using my Kaigelu 323.

It's a lovely pen ...

It is, and it surprises me that I get on with its shiny section ... and yet I do.

Do you not find that (capped) it dries out quite quickly, though?

My one takes quite a while to dry out - well, I suppose it's all relative. I doubt if I've left it more than 4 days without use since I got it. I don't have many pens where drying out is a problem, so it may also be a reflection of the typical weather we get in Kent (despite the hosepipe ban)!

Mine (in ivory) is marked as an X750 on the band, but was listed and written up as 7502.

I used my hero 616 it was scratchy, so I did a fluff and buff on the nib. Now it is so smooth. :clap1:

Do not let old pens lay around in a drawer, get them working and give them to a new fountain pen user.
