Just discovered products 4–6 recently. I really, really like the Lorelei. A single Lorelei, though still cheap by Western standards, costs as much as a package of six of the Jinhao 992 and is hardly distinguishable from it in appearance; but I think that if I were forced to choose between giving up my Lorelei and giving up my six Jinhao 692s, I would take the second option.

It's not a Chinese pen but it's a pen made in another competing country in the communist bloc in the 80's .
I put it in here because I did not find another suitable place for him from the point of view of the era in which this pen was made.

All this being said I'm sorry if I'm a bit of topic .

Without further delays, that's it :

Flaro - Select

Flaro - Select - It is a Fountain Pen with a semi hooded nib .

Today, i filled a new HERO 266 with Higgins fountain pen ink. Ink flow is very good from this skinny pen, and it writes with a smooth, fine line. There are only four left, in the ten-pack, that cost me $9.

Want a thin fountain pen that weighs ten grams ? This is a good one to try, FOR 99¢ .

Auf freiem Grund mit freiem Volke stehn.
Zum Augenblicke dürft ich sagen:
Verweile doch, du bist so schön !

I used today my Jinhao 992 red with Diamine Wild Strawberry. Just with 5 drops of ink, pen wrote 5 A5 pages. So I'm really happy with it.

Next is Hero 7031 soft mint with Diabolo Menthe. I really liked M nib on this pen, smooth, reliable. Only problem at least for me that converter, not reliable, and don't have another fits to that.

Jinhao 992 - using as an ED. Did not have to do anything to make it an ED. Plug is so snugly fitted, that I could not remove it. Inked with Iroshizuku Kon-Peki. Initially tried water, with no leaking. If I had of been able to remove the plug, I would not try to convert the pen but use the ink converter.

Being my favorite fountain pen, I was using a WingSung 235. But due to the pen needing repair/cleaning, I switched to a Jinhao x750 & filled it with Pelikan Brilliant Black.

Top:WingSung 235

Bottom:Jinhao x750
