What Chinese Pens Are You Using Today?

So far the only Chinese pen i have is the Jinhao x450 which costs only 2.50 dollars and it's surprising that it has great quality for a 2 and a half dollar fountain pen.

You want a physicist to speak at your funeral. You want the physicist to talk to your grieving family about the conservation of energy, so they will understand that your energy has not died. You want the physicist to remind your sobbing mother about the first law of thermodynamics; that no energy gets created in the universe, and none is destroyed. You want your mother to know that all your energy, every vibration, every Btu of heat, every wave of every particle that was her beloved child remains with her in this world. You want the physicist to tell your weeping father that amid energies of the cosmos, you gave as good as you got.

The X450 is astonishingly good for the price, and pretty good on an absolute scale regardless of price.

Today's pen is my blue Baoer 517. Must write a review some time. It's surprisingly pleasant for a cigar shaped pen.

Regards,

Richard

Today's Chinese pen is a...

Hang on. I thought I'd picked up the Kaigelu 316 Charcoal. But it's actually the Onoto Webster's 40th Anniversary Edition LE. Erm.

So my Chinese pen of the day isn't Chinese. Hrrumpf.

I'd wanted the Kaigelu.

I'd intended to get the Kaigelu.

In fact, I think I prefer the Kaigelu a bit, even though it's nearly worn out. And the Onoto is a very fine pen.

Regards,

Richard.

Idk if using a Jinhao 159 to torture test inks before using them on my expensive pens counts as "using". But so far Akkerman #10 IG holds up remarkably even after being unused for over a month!
