Good evening to all! I will be in Seattle later this winter and would appreciate leads on good pen/stationery stores. Both new and vintage pens, if possible. Thanks in advance for all replies.

+1 to World Lux. They don't usually sell vintage, but it doesn't hurt to ask if they have anything in stock as they do have them from time to time.

There is also a Silberman Brown store in both Seattle & Bellevue. I've never been there myself so I can't comment on their stock, but their website indicates they carry some nice FP pen/paper/inks.

There is also a MB boutique... I think it is in Bellevue, but I have never been there.

The UW Bookstore at University and NE 43rd has a pretty good selection of stationery (I got a bunch of Rhodia dotPads there), as well as some inks and a smattering of mostly-lower-end pens.

The Montblanc boutique is in Bellevue at Bellevue Square (http://bellevuesquare.com/). They are knowledgeable about pens - ask for Todd - and I have bought several pens there. Also in Bellevue is a branch of Silberman Brown at The Bravern (http://thebravern.com/shopping/silberman-brown-stationers). They have a nice selection of stationery and also carry J. Herbin ink.

  • 3 months later...

I found out recently that the Silberman Brown location in Bellevue has closed. The downtown Seattle location is still open.
