Nakaya Blue Dragon

In person, is the dragon motif more green or more teal?

Grar can't choose between this and the red dragon version x_x (although I prefer the second red dragon version from nibs.com to the first red dragon version but it only comes in a single body model...?)

Don't know which Iroshizuku ink would match the color, but I've used Diamine Steel Blue in mine since I got it and have been very pleased with the match-up.

In photos at least, the motif looks a match for either syo-ro or ku-jaku. From what you can see, is either a match? Thanks! :)

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!

I love the way the rounded ends of the portable show the shimmery Ao coming through.

That's what made me undecided between the portable and the Neo- standard, which I had meant to buy ages ago before it became discontinued. Maybe these dragons are now the only Ao-tamenuris we'll be able to buy in future.

Also, I love the way the dragons are partially hidden in the urushu. I asked recently at nibs.com if the blue dragons they had in stock were hidden like this or already visible on the outside. They said they were all visible on the outside, so that deterred me a bit.

I doubt these will ever come up on the secondary market...
