Your Best Cheap Pen?

I got late in the Pilot Metropolitan train and in my country they around 30 USD shipped :( Recently I snatched a Kakuno F around to 11 USD shipped ,great deal for an excellent pen. I'll look forward to get a Kakuno M. It has a slight edge over a generic unbranded Safari look-a-like that I fine tuned (polished etc) the nib. That pen is slowly convincing me to get a Safari charcoal for a more textured grip. But I'm going to put the M nib aside and put my fine tuned EF there :)

I have a modest collection of pens, nothing very expensive either. But, I am always surprised to find cheap pens writing very well at times. For me, the pen which I use (and abuse) on a daily basis (inked with Parker Quink Black which for some reason goes very well with this pen) is Pierre Cardin Penomatic, all plastic version which retails for around $1 USD and comes with a converter. It may not easily available outside India, but if you can get your hands on it, try it and you'll be pleasantly amazed.
