Oh no. I was just curious. I don't think I want to go mucking about with this pen, I was just curious. I like the simplicity of Pelikans and Esterbrooks.

And I don't know how to tell which Meisterstuck I have. Nib says 4810. I think that's just their standard, run-of-the-mill nib, though. Number on the clip is: BC126044. Must be pretty old. I mean, BC as opposed to AD.

Its not as simple as the Pelikan in terms of removing. It requires a two pin removal tool, the configuration of the pins is dependant on its age, and these are available from a couple of established sources. Reasealing of the nib unit has occupied many threads on here so please ask if you are considering doing it yourself. It is not that difficult I mean even I do it!

you will now be reading a beautiful article that will answer all your questions and then some.

Enjoy your pens

Thanks everybody. Like I said, I have no reason to mess around with it, I was just curious if it was like the Pelikans. I love the fact that you can take these MBs apart to clean them.
