I'm not sure what it is either. The pen itself sure does look like a Stylist. But every Stylist I've ever seen had a distinctive tapered clip with an overhang at the top that allowed you to squeeze the top of the clip to open it and make it easy to slide over the material of your pocket or whatever. The clip pictured is a typical Imperial rectangular clip with no overhang. But the nib section is definitely not an Imperial section, it does not have the three square lugs that retain the cap. So I'm baffled by this one.

I've tried several of my Imperial caps on my Stylists and can't find any that even come close to fitting. Do you know if that cap even fits on that pen?

I'm sure I've seen these before labeled as 444, clearly this refers to the finish as it's not an Imperial 444. I suspect based more on the Lady Sheaffer line from that period than the Stylist (early '70'?) as the nib dates it pre 1972 (??).

Whatever this is, it IS NOT a Sheaffer 444 related to the Imperial.

I have one of those. This 'ain't it.
