So dependig in this design we even today call the striped Pelikans "Stresemann", a name Pelikan should be more proud on than Souverän...

Thomas

Pelikan waited a very long time, but they eventually released some models in recent years named Stresemann, which are gray and black striped, much like the trousers.

I've looked through this thread but find myself a bit overwhelmed, but thought it better to post my question here than start a whole new thread.

I don't remember what this Pelikan rollerball is... I bought it a long time ago and all I remember is Souveran in the name. Can anybody help me narrow it down more than that?

Thank you!

The overall length might help to identify it.

Thank you for the reply... I measured it at 115 mm with cap closed but I used an app on my phone to do it because I couldn't find a ruler.

The closest thing I see online is Souveran 300 at 110 mm. (I think the 5 mm discrepancy falls within the error range of my phone.) Does Souveran 300 seem right to others?

Edit: Now that I've looked around, that seems to be a ballpoint pen and mine is a roller ball. Now I've thoroughly confused myself.

That looks to be a "new style" green marbled R200 rollerball dating sometime between 1997 and 2003. If accurate, it would not be a Souverän but rather part of Pelikan's Classic or Traditional line-up of pens.

It looked 200ish to me too.

I have mostly fountain pens, in 200, & a MB and BP (NOS set)

I have no roller balls.

Ransom Bucket cost me many of my pictures taken by a poor camera that was finally tossed. Luckily, the Chicken Scratch pictures also vanished.
