Montblanc Serial Number

Hello, a friend of mine has a MB Meisterstuck and he would like to sell it. I can upload some pictures here. Can you please tell me more about this MB?

The serial number of it is MC221695. It looks to be authentic. How much it worth? Is it gold plated or solid gold? Thank you for your responses,

It's gold plated, as are most of them. It appears to be the Classique model. Solid gold trim only comes on select limited edition pens in general. It's probably not worth so much though since it is used. You may have more luck if you have the original papers and a box to go with it.

I totally agree with Jar.

 

It appears to be a gold-plated Meisterstück classique 164. The value depends on its condition. Research what they go for on eBay. Here in the marketplace I'd ask for $100 US for my used 164.
