Wyvern Perfect Pen No.81. Wyvern was one of the earliest British pen companies and ceased production in 1955. This "Perfect pen No.81" in black celluloid is from the late 40's and has the arrow head lever filler.

Hi there,

A few unusual British pens. I owned several Mentmores, but sold them all because I found their button filling system a bit picky. But yours looks to be a lever filler? I can't see it in the picture, but I am assuming it would be.

I look forward to seeing what else you post!

Thanks every one for the replies.

Gobblecup, the Mentmore is an eyedrop filler, which is rather unusual as most of them were button fillers as you have mentioned.

Ihtzazqamar, unfortunately I haven't used any of these pens so I can't put up any writing samples.

Thanks Caligrafo for your appreciation.

I don't know much about Truepoint fountain pens. Any info on this pen will be appreciated. Thanks.
