I sooo want there to be a Parker 51 Swastika, hopefully made in 1941, to celebrate the year America entered the war - oh the delightful irony if such a thing existed. :)

He he, I only have two of the pens listed above, Golden Arrow and New Special.

Sure wish I had a coronet cap.

That reminds me of the rarest of the rare Vacumatics missing on my list. Few people have seen it in real life, no, I'm not one of them :-(

The Imperial Coronet Vacumatic in solid two-tone green and pink gold, from about 1939. To die for:

Junior lizard (only 2 known to exist)

Big red single band (different from the American version this has a very thin almost junior sized cap band)

Duofold Senior dark brown pearl

The Parker 75 Titanium with moon dust panels on its sides, three were made, one for Richard Nixon as his personal pen and he gave the other to the Chinese Premier in 1972. The third one was made and kept by Parker. Its fate is not known.

I have wondered what Nixon's family did with his Parker pens? Are they in the RMN museum or in the personal collection of his heirs?

I think you need to be a bit more specific, in regards to what kind of list you want. I think we could all create a list of ten pens that are the rarest, but without knowing whether you are talking about Parker since the beginning, or current, or maybe the golden age, it might be difficult to establish a well representative list. If you are maybe honing in on the most desireable, then maybe that's a start. Sometimes rarity, being that one pen was made, does not necessarily constitute desireability, whereas, 51's in mustard, and nassau are sorta uncommon, but highly desireable. Likewise with snakes, and black giants. whereas they are quite uncommon, they are not terribly rare, but highly desireable. Define what you are trying to ask of us, and I think we can come up with a pretty cool list for you.

Ok I get it...so we have 3 terminologies here...

1) Rarest

2) Oldest

3) Most Desirable

Which of these 3 would stand for "The Most Valuable"...that would be the list I am interested in..how this list would relate to the above 3 would be an interesting connotation...;-)

Perhaps specificity may still need to be in order. I say that because all 3 terms in

this case can be interchangeable. What may be the rarest to one,may not be the

most desirable to another(e.g., Black Giants may be rare in terms of the Duofold

line and Rick may desire one,but not every one will want one). I realize that de-

sirability differs between each of us,but perhaps you should use all 3 terms for

each age--just to show what stood out in each age.
