Florida Blue/super Lux Waterproof-Ish

After finding a great possible waterproof replacement for Waterman's Florida Blue thanks to another FPN member, DennisU, I sent off for same inks. The result he named "Super Lux Blue" Below are the scans that compare the two inks. I was very happy with the results. (Well, the handwriting could be better.)

I need better equipment and true measures, but this quickie test convinced me to send off for full bottles and cook up my own batch!

Thanks, DennisU!

Pardon my asking, but is Waterman Florida Blue supposed to be waterproof? I just bought some and the box of cartridges do not indicate waterproof.

Thanks

No, I was doing a test on Super Lux Blue, a recipe ink I found here that mimics the color of Florida Blue but has resistance to water. Putting Florida Blue under running water will cause WFB to vanish.
