Breaking News: New Parker Model To Be Launched

Btw. Parker states that it was actually research that led to their new pen. I'll have the chance to test one soon and I'll try to do so without allowing my prejudices to influence my judgement.

This might also be said of the VS, the Liquid Lead and the T-1, or Eversharp's CA. I suspect the $160 body to hold these refills is a covertly desperate effort to get the investment in whatever research was done repaid in super-short time, and since it's not the sort of technology that early-adopters go gaga over sticking a huge price on an untried thing likely going to be as much of an act of foot-shooting as one of those earlier efforts (I'll let you choose which).

It's mainly pens, just now....

Oh, good heavens. He's got a blog now, too.

I wonder if I should buy a refill and shove it into a bic stick to see how it writes... :hmm1:

Though I am a little disappointed with the last pens Parker placed on the market, I don't think we should underestimate them. Sure, this pen is an impostor, but I am not sure if this is everything about the new design. I think a fountain pen with a decent give would outperform this pen, but most fps are nails today.

I already have the right idea to counter this pen, too bad that I am not planning to make fountain pens.

You know, we may all be looking at this all wrong. Remember the T-1 (and the VP)? They were revolutionary but flawed and didn't last long. Now, they are worth much more as a collectible than other contemporaries. I say we all grab one--put it away and wait for the day it is discontinued and we will have a bonified rarity!

As long as I never have to look at the writing end (not sure what else to call it) of this pen, this could be a possibility. Ugh, I get chills and throw up a little in my mouth every time I see the "nib".
