I love the Grape so much that I bought another bottle when I placed my mega-shipment with Goulet.

I've got 2 each of S.S and Grape coming from The Writing Desk for just under £26, or $40 S&H included. Is anyone less expensive? mellow.gif

I absolutely love turquoise inks! Please don't get me wrong - Aqua Lagoon is beautiful and very well-behaved. However, it is too close to the turquoise inks I've got in my collection already. As such, I won't be putting it in my "must buy" list

Clear now, thanks! I think it was the combination of "turquoise" and "well-behaved" that made me (bleep) up my ears. I started with Lamy Turquoise, and like it, but found it failed to write well in the Paperchase 'Noto' journal (re-branded CIAK) that I was using at the time. Hearing that Waterman inks are generally well-behaved, I tried Waterman South Seas Blue. I think I have a slight preference for the Lamy, which is bluer rather than greener, but it's a close-run thing. Unfortunately, the WSSB wasn't much better. I concluded the paper disliked turquoise inks (nor did it like Diamine Twilight). Given that Waterman is usually well-behaved, I imagine there's little reason to try Aqua Lagoon. And I'm on better paper now anyway.

Yikes, just priced an order direct from diamine and they want 10gpb (~$15) to ship to the USA.

I think the problem isn't Diamine, it's the Royal Mail. If I've got it right, the UK Government allowed our postal service a price hike of over 30%, albeit on condition they kept it level for the next seven years.

I don't see much enthusiasm for Misty Blue, but it looks very attractive to me.

Misty Blue, Grape, Meadow (I really liked the Ink Drop sample) and Grey will be my next Diamine inks.

With the new FPN rules, now I REALLY don't know what to put in my signature.

Enthusiasm here for Misty Blue. Misty Blue and Grape were the only ones I ordered out of this new batch.

There's a very nice review by Tawanda here. In person, for me, Misty Blue is darker than tawanda's scan, but it shows the same shading and is a very nice hue. It's another interesting Diamine blue.

The Grape is darker than I expected, but not black like Eclipse. It's a serious purple, which I think could even be appropriate in a business setting.

I only got the inks today, so I haven't done extensive testing, but I like them both so far.
