While I haven't actually been inside the the shop, I remember noticing through the window that there were bottles of Diamine ink on the shelves at Penfriend in the Burlington Arcade.

Ah, Evergreen. If you rescan it a day later it'll be a totally different colour...

Thanks a lot. Boy, this illustrates the difficulty with scans: on the particular monitor I happen to be using, these all look like various intensities of the same color!

You are absolutely correct! It was so difficult to attempt to represent the colours accurately. Emerald seems to be a darker version of Meadow. Ultra green is IMO closest to a true green. And Kelly Green does seem to be a lighter shade of Meadow, albeit with less yellow tones.

Any indication about when Ancient Copper will be available? I'm not asking for myself, but my flex pen has been bugging me every day about it.

 

I'm using Rustic Brown right now, lovely red undertones. But Ancient Copper is calling our name...........

I think you're eyes are fine. I too see a purple tint in eclipse.

My eyes aren't fine, but looking at the ink itself rather than a scan, I see more blue than purple.

 

I haven't gotten my hands on the ink, so I can only judge from the scans. Which may, or may not, be accurate.

 

Based on the ink I have, it's a very dark musty purple. Almost black on a fine nib.

If I'm not wrong, I saw a couple days ago that Nordic Pens are selling Ancient Copper. I don't know if it's a pre-sales, though.
