Thanks Jon, I like Guadalajara too, in those courses Melaque and Barra de navidad in Colima. I love San Miguel Allende but not Guanajuato to many ups and downs hills

Guanajuato is definitely hilly, but San Miguel has its share as well. Both our recent trips featured steep walks to/from our house to other areas, pero sí que valió la pena. By the way, I haven't gotten to your book recommendation, but it's still on my list! My preference is still for San Miguel, but my traveling companions (wife, sister, brother-in-law) were quite taken by Guanajuato and would like to spend more time there on our next trip.

With travel on hold at the moment, and my telephoto lens off for repairs (it's been almost 3 months now; how long does it take?), I've been playing more with macro. Here are a couple of recent ones.

Telephoto away means more macro fun for us :-) you realize some long time ago your macro spider was so.. “cute” multiple giant eyes, rather than all creepy crawling 8 legs eeewww, my lifelong fear lessened enough to live let live..If they stay in their corner :-)

Good to see you post too.. subtext stuck at home with family but ok is good news in posts here.

Another cute one to keep the arachnophobia at bay.

My first time visiting this thread. Lots of great photos - I really like FUZZY_BEAR's self-portrait.

Wowed, is that dew on the eyes?

Beautiful grandchildren & smiles :-)

Not dew. It happened to fly up while I was watering some flowers, then stayed around long enough for me to go in for my camera.

Nice and interesting shots, penrivers!
