Penrivers - Beautiful work! I'm partial to B&W, so I especially like what you did with Spring onion flower B&W.

Nice! :)

Thanks Malcom Prince of Cumberland, I love the English literature from Chaucer to Ian McEwan, I am going to read Macbeth again, once I did it with an old Dictionary (so hard) now with internet as an English Spanish dictionary is easy ja ja.

I haven't added any photos to this thread for a very long time, so here is a recent shot taken within five meters of my front door.

A juvenile broad-tail hummingbird close onto migration for the autumn is the subject here.

This is a photo from Borås (in Sweden) of a street sculpture called "House of Knowledge" by Jaume Plensa. I, however, call the sculpture, "A Man of Few Words" !!! The neat blue colour to the sky is the afterglow when the sun is down, but it's not yet pitch black in the sky.

Penrivers, I recently took a trip to the other side of Mexico. We enjoyed the Mérida area very much-my first trip there in 35 years. A few of my favorites:

Congrats Jon. It seems that Yucatán remains as a placid place among the violence in México, I miss the panama hats, the cheap guayaberas, and the opulent clouds in the sky.
