i'm always impressed by wildlife photography, could never have the patience or the wherewithal to build and sit in a hide cradling a photosniper lens

 

i'm much more of a causal-street guy, carry a tiny trip 35 or olympus pen-f

I never sit in a hide or anything, most of my pics are taken from the car or when i´m walking around with my dogs (they are allways with me) and i am definetely not the most patient person in the world.

But i certainly enjoy the kind of pictures you both show.

Thank you very much penrivers, for birds i use a 300 2,8 L is usm + a 1,4 TC, and allways handheld.

I only looked at the first and last page for now, The bird pics are absolutely amazing Farmdogfan! Don't know how you can do that using such a long lens handheld.

Abner Doubleday's gravesite at Arlington National Cemetery on Easter Sunday. Did not know he had been a Union General in the American Civil War. His grave was visited earlier by a baseball fan.
