I'd never paid much attention to reflection photos, but, wow!, they're fascinating! Kinda like two pictures in one.

Playing around in my yard after a rain and then playing with the images-I loved the raindrops and looking through them-I decided the drops looked like upside-down snow globes, so I decided to turn it around:

Still puzzling over the circumstances that might have led to this:

That's a nice concept Jon...yup! Reflections are kind of a photographic obsession for me...you can do so many things with them!

Great photo with the bra!

Kah: nice still life.

Here I'm adding one of my "Planes suite"

I like it both in color and in B&W

Nice plane suite Sonia. You know, one of the main reasons I want to comeback to Madrid is to visit the store book "Tres Rosas Amarillas",of course named so in honor of the famous Raymond Carver's short story "Three yellow roses" about the last moments in the life of Chejov in a German bathing resort.

Well, the peculiarity, or singularity of this book store is that the founders 3 young people a woman and 2 young men decided to sell only short story books, eh?, no brick novels, not essays, no philosophy, just short storys, wonderful no? and of course, the other reason is un buen Cocido o Puchero Madrileño. Greetings.

This is the pic that convinced me I have to get a dslr. I wasn`t aware that I was being "shot", altough I had noticed the camera on the table, near the plate of the person sitting in front of me. At the time, I had no interest in dslr`s. Then, a few weeks after, this picture and a few others, came to me and I was impressed with the quality of the image and the nice bokeh (I didn`t know it`s called bokeh back then, but it looked good).

I tried to create a similar effect with my Elph 300:

Still learning. I have to be prepared for when the dslr comes my way, or else I`ll just be looking at it, instead through it.

And a few more that I like:

Not familiarized with the book but yes with Chejov. Will tell about the store to my cousin who has a son that writes beautifully.

Cocido madrileño?? Malacatín!

Very nice, lspriluc! I think you'll love a dslr-then you can also start collecting lenses...

A picture I took down the road from my house last week:

Jon! try it in Black and white!

It`s already a very nice photo, B&W would be awesome! It reminds me of a PC game I used to play, Medal of Honor, or perhaps Band of Brothers tv series , it`s the same thing: WWII.

Hehe, don`t mind me, I`m crazy...
