Penmeeting Akkerman

 

We went there with some FPN-ers two weeks ago and had some chit-chat with him.

Would you believe that this Mann is the first pen that I purchase at this store? It really is. My normal venue is Akkerman Pennen in The Hague (once or twice a year when I am in Europe). Guess I got lucky

Yep, I have known Paul for the past 14 years and purchased many a pen from him. A true gentleman and expert. The first set I bought from him was a Hemingway FP and BP that a customer had sold to the store. I have a visit planned the first week of August to pick up the Lennon and a Visconti Anniversary (red) that was sent for a clip exchange. Last year I purchased the Orange Duofold set that was issued for the 100th anniversary and that you showed a picture of in your post. Great Set. Say hi to Lennard if you speak to him. Met him last February.
