I've seen the Steytler site which gives a poor photo of his manufacture but I am in desperate need of something more substantial. I have access to CNC as well as manual equipment but I need something to work with here... Suggestions anyone?

Run a want to by ad. When I did I wound up with three to choose from. It took a while but I was contacted.

Thanks, FarmBoy, but the new classifieds don't allow a posting without a photo. The everloving catch22 once again frustrates me!!

I am of the opinion that some felt my good fortune was wasted on me, and I really have no worthy response. But I looked for that block for 3 years and pounced when I saw it. I paid the full asking price then and there, before some else did.

 

The block is great.

 

I suggest that you use for a burnisher, a smooth wooden stick like you use on your cuticles when doing your nails, ( you do, do your nails, don't you?). It won't be so likely to scratch your nib while you learn.
