Just got a packet back from the wondergineer FountainBel

I had this nice Bohler which snapped clean at the section. Sent it away to Francis and he made a new one. I also had him extend the length of the pen so the ink window is partially visible when capped. Very happy with the results. The Bohler is first from left.

I have a number of sub-collections in my overall collection. I feel that I have too many, but have a hard time letting any go.

Here are a couple of my sub-collections:

 

Omas Tokyo sub-collection:

I recently found the black FP after a number of years of looking.

The pen was made in five colors and in FP, BP, RB and PCL.

My original goal was to find all five colors of FP with the 18k nib (it was also offered with a plated nib.)

Along the way (especially while waiting for the black FP to come around) I picked up many of the other implements.

I will probably keep looking until I have all 20 in the collection.

LeBoeuf model 40 sub-sub-collection:

I collect all/ any LeBoeufs I can afford, but since the #40 is the smallest pen in the range, they tend to be the easiest to afford.

This pic just shows the #40s in my collection. I'll follow up with more LeBoeuf if I can locate the images.

Yes it worked out nicely - FountainBel is excellent for complicated restoration and superb turnaround time.

From right to left

The first two are lesser know, cute German pen - Discuss out of Bonn. These are made out of Aluminium and one is piston filled and other if button filler.

The third pen is a high quality German button filler; just sold it and details are here

Fourth is another German pen by Fend made out of silver and sports one of my favorite BB nib. Another picture here

Fifth one is an Aurora 88 GL (Gran Lusso) the luxury version.

Wow! Christof, that photo is divine! Your collection is just stunning! I especially like that golden web Vac, and the chased Montblanc, and the rose ripple Waterman, and the tortoise Pelikan, and the... and the... and the... well, gosh, all of them are so lovely!

No, it's a "Special" (same lenght as Senior, same diameter as Junior).
