I always struggled to define the theme of my collection. The one common trait that I noticed recently is my affinity for big pens. I do have other pens in my collection but here are some of the OS ones.

These are the ones I write with. I've got the rest of the 'regular' Preras on order or already arrived but not unpacked, as well as the missing shimmery Hemisphere. Going to finish off the TWSBI colours with 540s when they're out -- as much as I love them, I'm not quite mad enough to get all seven in both 530 and 540.

 

I'd like to get my hands on an Expert Prussian Green, since I have the other two, but I've not seen one at a sensible price. And I'm still hoping I'll get lucky with the old Safaris at some point. I should probably get the blue Accent and Studios too, but I'm running out of blue ink colours (maybe I'll ditch the Kulturs and the Harmonie, they're not very nice to write with). And then there are the two Expert Citylines I don't have...

The clip on your forth picture 'unknown urushi eyedropper' is exactly the same as a vintage Pilot I have - in every detail except that mine says 'PILOT' near the top of the clip. Here it is -

I had to come back to your pictures several times. I think this is a really outstanding collection of pens with much caracter. I don't know every single of this brands, but all together make a great matching collection. My main interest is in Parker and Pelikan, but there are also some single pens from other makers. Currently, tere's one Soennecken in my collection. It's a 914 Rheingold from 1930:

It's a japanese eye dropper called "TAKAHASHI" and it's really oversized.

Thanks Stephen. Yes, even I have noticed several Pilot pens with the exact same design. Maybe Pilot did some sub-contracting back then. I love the heft and balance of the pen. Actually it has 3 Japanese characters engraved on the barrel - can figure out what it means though

Is it a piston filler or Rheingold only came with the unique button filler?

 

Sometime I wonder why do I mostly have black pens (apart from them being cheaper) but then I see pens like your Japanese OS and feel content.
