Great collection, but these are my favorites. I have a Polar Lights and would love to get a Niagara Falls someday. Is there a difference between the two Mount Everests?

I am new to collecting pens, and brand new to fountain pens. (cursed with the left handed illness so I smear the ink across the page). But I have recently purchased an Indian Summer Pelikan. It was my beleif that it was part of the Beauties of Nature Series. Have I been fooled?

 

 

 

No, you have not been fooled. I mistakenly called the series Wonders of the World. The Indian Summer is part of the Beauties of Nature and not the Wonders of the World series. Your good.

My current collection of fountain pens I have accumulated over the course of the last couple of months since discovering fountain pens:

 

 

From left to right based on the order of overall quality as I have determined. Although limited and not as expansive nor as expensive, they have served me well and each gets used. I will add a TWSBI, Esterbrook J, and a Sailor in the next few weeks.

You take pretty good pictures, if only I had the equipment for it...

Your Japanese pens are especially nice to look at, although I guess I would have to go to pen shows or Japan to find some of the vintage ones you have. The Red and Gold Capless just reminded me why I wanted a second one!

 

The progression of Duofold styles is also nice to see.

 

I remembered seeing you post several Conway Stewarts around here before? :embarrassed_smile:

As a collector, I have focused on vintage Conway Stewarts, but there are so many, many great pens out there...and I like to try them out.

 

This year I have sold many of my pens to buy more vintage English pens, but I have gone for Swans and other Mabie Todds mostly because I love flexible pens. I still would love to get some Conway Stewarts in the future, they are some of the most beautiful of the 40s-50s era. But as you can see even at this early stage in my collecting, I am having trouble focusing, there are just too many good pens to distract you!
