Swapping Dip Nibs Into Noodlers Flex Pen

I did the Brause Rose nib in my Noodlers Ahab, it required slow going and constant re priming the feed, but amazing flex. Check out Sbrebrowns Uber flex video. I have heard that there is a pen that has a pump designed to be used with dip nibs. Ackerman as I remember.

I also have used a Brause rose nib. However it rusts if left in the pen overnight.

My Vintages:

Sheaffer Triumph, Saratoga, Targa Slim and Targa Standard; Waterman 3V and 52 1/2V; Mabie Todd Swan Self Filler x 2; Eagle Unbreakable in sterling silver; Eversharp Bantam; Parker Duofold Lucky Curve BCHR and Duofold in red hard rubber; Spors Co. glass nib pens x 4; Conklin 2NL and 20P.

A couple threads I started, before I learned of this one. Hope they help.

Fitting A Nikko G Nib Into A Noodler's Creeper

https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/index.php/topic/259717-fitting-a-nikko-g-nib-into-a-noodlers-creeper/

The Nikko G is plated, so rust should take longer to appear. I left it in my pen for 4 days. I took it out and examined it for rust, but did not see any (Noodler's Bernanke Blue ink).

Converting A Regular Nib Into A Flex Nib For Noodler's Ahab/konrad

https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/index.php/topic/260041-converting-a-regular-nib-into-a-flex-nib-for-noodlers-ahabkonrad/

Goulet Pen sells the stiff Noodlers nib for Ahab/Konrad for $2.00. My thread shows how I converted this stiff nib into a flexible nib. Since the nib is made from stainless steel, there should be no rust problems. With some tip thinning, hairlines become better than I get from the stock Noodler's flex nib. But the hairlines are still not as fine as I get from a true dip pen nib.
