Wow!

Congratulations to Salman, hlyuqi, and everyone who submitted their amazing work to this thread/contest! :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

Every bit of this contest was so much fun. Checking the thread a billion times a day for new entries to drool over, thinking up new ideas and concepts, sifting through the many verse variations to find the best one for a particular entry, and of course having another excuse to play with my pens and ink! :happyberet: Such a great experience! I can't thank Pendleton enough for his generosity, and for putting this whole thing together! Talk about an inspiring thread. I'm very glad I have never had to judge a contest like this. I cant imagine how hard that must have been. Thank you so much judges!

I look forward to posting a version of the verse written with my new toy B)

Kind of late but congrats to swavey, SMK, and hlyuqi! And thank you to all the judges (Pendleton especially!). It's been fun looking over all the entries and participating myself. It's great to see all the talent here on FPN.

OK, well this would have been my effort if I saw this earlier;

it's written with a 1932 Parker True Blue Lucky Curve in Noodlers Habanero.

  • 4 months later...

I have great handwriting...i often get compliments.

But my handwriting is no where near the beauty of what I have seen here.

I need to take some lessons. You folks are great...and an encouragement.

Thanks
