I thought I had a chance there for a while, but as the entries rolled in, that confidence was replaced with a sinking feeling as I saw the bar rise higher and higher before my eyes.

 

The entries were simply unbelievable--true works of art. I was really glad to participate.

 

I hope we have more projects like this, even without a prize, it was a wonderful experience!

Dear Pendleton,

 

Thank for creating such an inspiring contest. As many have said, it was amazing to open this thread and every time see new and amazingly creative works of art.

 

Thank you also for the generous prizes that began this contest, and for the way generous offer for a discount on grinding. Having several of your Butter~Line Stubs, I am already studying my other pens to see which one will get to come your way!

 

Another thank you goes to the judges, who had no easy task to decide from amongst the numerous entries. I wonder if it would be possible to repost the winning entries now, with names, PIP, and any other pertinent info?

 

And SF Pen Posse, what do you have up your sleeve? Please don't keep us in suspense for too long!

Sadly, you've just knocked Mum off her pedestal as far my son is concerned. He thought my writing was the best, but now even he has seen that my efforts don't compare with some of the beautiful work we have seen here. I just wish it would inspire him to do something about his scrawl though!
