The judges are working hard and trust me, this is not easy. I may not even take part in the judging. The 5 judges I have chosen are very nobel: all Gold (really platinum) FPN members who have been on this FPN board longer than I have; really I think they better suited to judge what has become a tough decision. The point system should help. I will only give their names if they permit, but if it was me, I would not.

 

I am not certain when I will get all the results in, so posting time will be tomorrow (July 3) sometime before midnight.

 

If I have all the results calculated, I will announce the winner during my radio shift 1 - 5:40 PM (EST) on WWEV 91.5 in Atlanta or http://victory91.5.com where you can listen live if you wish. I may be able to give an update of who's in the running.

I believe it's for a custom grind on one of your own nibs. So you'll have to contact Pendleton directly to inquire more about that.

Still waiting on one West Coast judge. Will stick with plan "A" and announce tomorrow (July 3).

 

I will be involved in back to back events through the noon hour but will announce as soon as possible after hearing from final judge. There are a lot of contestants in the balance; this has been very tough to judge ... I am sure you agree.

I do not know the top three as yet, but the five finalists who have risen to the top in the final stretch of the judging calculations:

Night Wing, Swavey, hlyuqi, SMK and mliptrot

 

It has been very close and all entries were treated with great respect and a lot of "ouching" to have to eliminate so many lovely entries. One judge used the word "Harrowing" for the experience. But the contest itself has been the glorious thing; the final top 3, just the icing on this delicious cake.

 

 

Winner to come soon. Tune in if you wish, or check back when I can post the top 3 winners in a while.
