They look so pretty

I'm too OCD with clear demos- not from ink stains, but from scratches, haziness, dustiness etc

you either go all anal and clean em all the time, or you use them. at least that's what i've gathered from reading different opinions on FPN for the past year and a half. I'd let it get dirty and just use it. It is just a pen after all. What would you like to do?

I've got the Vista, and as an FP noob I use it and clean it all the time. It's my one and only FP... at the moment. Just ordered a Sheaffer 444 from Peyton Street Pens, the collecting disease is taking hold! The clear TWSBI is also on the 'want' list.

@enricof

I have to give a closer look to the OMAS pens, next time I visit my cousin in Italy. I think I clearly underestimated their pens, but I got distracted by the fact that she doesn't like them.

It's interesting to see the TWSBI Diamond 530 compared to the Pelikan M1005. Reading entries on FPN, I imagined that the Pelikan was huge but it isn't a lot bigger. The TWSBI looks a bit bigger than the M800 too.

Anyway here are my demos:

This my one and only demonstrator: a Visconti Opera Master.

Not a particularly great picture as a demonstrator because it was totally loaded with ink when I took the photo.
