Lamy Nib On Platinum Preppy?

I recently got a Platinum Preppy to convert into an eyedropper, and I noticed the nib and the way it attaches onto the end of the feed is very similar to the nibs on the Lamy pens with easily swappable nibs.

 

Would the Lamy nibs possibly fit on the Preppy? Or are the nibs' dimensions slightly different?

More than slightly: the profile of the Lamy nib is considerably flatter than that of the Preppy (I just looked); it won't even go over the feed. The Preppy nib would possibly slide over the Lamy feed, but it wouldn't stay there and wouldn't contact the top of the feed for ink supply.

 

Some other pens use a similar mounting method for their nibs. They won't interchange either, for similar reasons.
