I have the Lamy 1.1 and I do believe my next order from Goulet's will include a 1.5 nib so I can just swap it out instead of changing pens. The Lamy italics have "rounded shoulders" making it easy to whip the pen across the page at handwriting speed... But having the 1.1 makes me think I should have gone for the 1.5 in the first place... I still have to write every second line. Glad you "found your hand", keep up the good scribing.

Nothing wrong with your writing, it puts mine to shame! I'm now going to check out the Lamy calligraphy set...

I am still new to all of this, but my thinking is that as long as you letters are consistant, it will look great. Like the example. I guess it was the b that stood out. You have a few of them in the picture, and they are all the same. I don't think that you have to write in any particular style, you just have to find your own, and work on that.
