Majestic Pen

Hi I have a pen with Majestic on the cap. It has a filler on the pen as well. On the NIB it says Super Point and NY. Then it looks like part of the NIB is gold . Is that possible. Thanks for any help.

I just finished restoring a Majestic with a steel nib. It is very short when capped, barely 4¼ inches long. I suppose this is what is called a lady's pen or purse pen.

I just bought a Majestic pen very similar to the one in the picture from the original poster. Mine is a purse/pocket pen: 4" capped, about 5 1/2" posted. It has a different pattern to the celluloid, but a gold-colored band just like that one, the same lever, and a Super Point nib.

I think it just needs a new sac and then I'll be able to get it up and running. (Dipping the nib, it seems to be very smooth; it is probably a F nib). Though not fancy, this is a very pretty little pen that will be fun to use. It had crusty bits of a rusty red/burgundy in it, so I think I'll try to fill it with something comparable once it is ready to be filled.

I haven't, though, been able to find a reference to what size sac I should use. (I checked the usual spots--richardspens.com, pendemonium.com.) Does anyone know what size to use? Or where else to check?

Thanks!

Edit/Update: nevermind on the sac size request. I got this up and running and it is a fun little pen.

I have a couple of these as well, in celluloid. Mine look much like a contemporary Watermans Ideal. Nice pens.

I believe they are a department store brand, probably Sears. Mine have 14k solid gold nibs, so they were probably a mid level pen when new.

What size sac did your pocket pen end up needing? I have one that sounds very similat, having a tough time figuring out which replacement nib & sac sizes I need. Thanks!
