Saturated blue

Here are the various blue-tone inks I currently have in pens, including Visconti Blue which has been so horribly maligned above . I would have a hard time distinguishing Asa-gao and Visconti Blue on a page, if not told which was which.

(Also gave me a chance to use the UPLOAD feature for the first time - pretty cool; works great!)

No regrets! In all sincerity, it's your monitor or mine. On paper, my asa gao is much lighter, greener. My South Sea is very much lighter, very, very much greener, almost turquoise. My Visconti is much closer to yours, but less grey, more of a "true blue".

Hey I was just kidding anyway.

I agree, though, that the SSB is more turquoise than shown on the sample, which is from an iPhone photo transferred over, so no flash, bad lighting, etc. I just wanted to show the relative color differences between the three. On my paper, the Visconti and Asa-gao are virtually identical. Asa-gao has been a favorite, but I'm now using Visconti Blue just as much.

Noodler's Bay State Blue. But my favorite is Aurora Blue. I found the Waterman's to be, a little, well watery  . No offense to the company or fans of this ink, but perhaps I just have not had the right color blue in that brand to suit my tastes.

Speaking of empyrean, Levenger Empyrean is a beautiful dark blue ink.

With the new FPN rules, now I REALLY don't know what to put in my signature.

+1 for Levenger Cobalt. Levenger Empyrean is more of a blue-black or at least to me it is. Love both colors.
