Zaner Bloser

This is a rare parker zaner bloser pencil. Only the third I have seen. Im hoping that someone can help me determine a color for this! I've spoken to a few collectors, and could not determine a color. Any ideas?? :blink:

Hey Jiffy, I responded on the other site under "Desperate Schlub." To me the color looks like a well-worn True Blue (Parker actually called it "Modernistic Blue." I believe it was the only color Parker made them in. Yours looks a bit brownish (maybe it's the lighting in the picture), but I'm wondering if a buffing wouldn't bring the color back to normal.

 

Check out frame 2 on the Parker page at my mechanical pencil museum - the pencil on the far right - and see if you don't agree. Link to the museum is just below.

Well, the pencil really is GREEN, a marbled green. I spoke to Jonathan Stienberg at the LA show for a bit, and he too said it was a true green color, but not sure what the name was. Ill try to get a better picture later so that you can really see. Do you attend any of the shows? perhaps we could meet one day!
