Help with MB 334 1/2

Hi, have a few questions on this pen :

 

1. the nib only says 4 1/2 inside the Snow Cap logo with Montblanc on the top arc, so is it a steel nib with gold color ? Feels firm and steely to me = )

2. How do you take the nib out ? Unscrew, pull, etc ?

3. The cap has 4 chased (pattern looks like the edge of a quarter) cap bands, is this the norm ?

4. Is the cork piston hard to replace ?
