Well, I do still have the thing. I think I did put some ink in it and I think I remember it writing, but writing at those angles was not any way to write that I liked.

 

It's been so long I don't even remember from whom I bought it. I do think it was someone up here on FPN though. There was a guy up here who from time to time sold me any number of fountain pens that seemed to me, um, a little different from their descriptions. I eventually developed a pretty good sales resistance to his offers .
