How about this Omas Extra Lucens LE? I was very lucky to grab this one in that new year's day omas auction...

That is the one Omas that I regret selling. A moment of insanity.

The Black Lucens could be a goer, or there's this:

and here's a re-hash of my other preference (the link fell off from an earlier post)

I prefer the blue Lucens myself, the marbled transparent celluloid is closer to some of the vintage non-black celluloids used on the Extra Lucens and Lucens. The black transparent celluoid, but more so the non-transparent black-gold I find a too serious for my tastes.

vintage arco gray is wonderful -- I have a 556/F in that cellud -- but no modern Omas version.

The 3 pens on the left are old OMAS Extra Lucens:

Here's two of just the 'marbled' (or wild?) Extra Lucens:

I can always do Milord, but pretty much all the nice celluloid has been used on this size already...

I don't recall the OMAS producing the Old Style Milord pens in celluloid. Contemporary Milord pens are produced in the Arcol Bronze and Wild cellulloids - but has anyone ever seen an Old Style Milord in celluloid (not vintage, but Old Style).

Talking about fountain pens is like dancing about architecture.

You bored or something. :D As far as I know, the answer is a big fat "No" unfortunately. ;) There was never a regular production old-style celluloid Milord in the "celluloid collection". And I've never seen a commissioned pen that was old-style Milord size. (See, now you know why I have so many vintage medium Omas pens.)

I *think* the pen which actually comes the closest is the Extra Lucens LE, which is noticeably shorter and thinner than the modern Paragon.

When I first got my Extra Lucens LE, I compared it to a modern celluloid Paragon and resin Milord...and I seem to recall it being closer to the Milord --- but my memory's not so good these days. :P And maybe it was wishful thinking on my part wanting to classify it with the Milord rather than the Paragon.

As luck would have it I don't have my Extra Lucens LE or a Milord handy at the moment.

OK, but I was trying to tell you sometimes finding them isn't so hard...particularly when they're right under your nose. You just have to open your eyes....:yikes:

Didn't he indicate at the outset it's Arco Green?
