Just got my Pelikan M200 with an italic nib today!

My question...is it okay to use with the Speedball Pigmented Acrylic?

NOT ON YOUR LIFE! NEVER use a pigmented ink in a fountain pen- it will clog the narrow ink channel and likely cause irreparable damage. Use ONLY inks that are EXPRESSLY labeled as fountain pen ink.

Nope, the pigments will clog your pen up, will be even nastier if you let it dry for a while... :crybaby:

You could use this ink in a Pilot Parallel Pen and possibly the Platinum Carbon Pen, but probably not the Pelikan. I do use a pigmented acrylic ink (Magic Color, made in England) in my Rotring ArtPens with no ill effects... before Magic Color, I used to use Rotring ArtistColors, also a waterproof acrylic pigmented ink which was made for these pens but is no longer made. But the Rotring ArtPen is designed to be taken apart for cleaning, much like the Pilot Parallel and Platinum Carbon Pens. There used to be an old Osmiroid pen that was safe for India ink... again, it was designed to be taken apart for cleaning though. If you want to use this ink, you'll need to find one of these pens.

Find my homemade ink recipes on my Flickr page here.

You can't, even though they may sometimes be in the same section. Doesn't make sense, right? If you buy a Manuscript Calligraphy fountain pen, you can't use the ink found right under it. They are waterproof and will murder he inside of the pen. On the same note, don't use Higgins either, which is commonly found right next door. Try Parker Quink, the best economical cost ink out there (about $10 a bottle).
