Also very similar to Noodler Tiananmen apparently. What would you say after using it for some time now?

 

Tiananmen is a little redder than Oku-Yama, more like blood red, hence the name.

Just got a sample of this, the just released non-seasonal version. I may have to go for a bottle - very nice! ... and very nice penmanship!

Fantastic review, such a great shading. I'm seeing a little shading with my fine steel nib as well and it's a very lovely color. Sheen I did not see, wrong nib, wrong paper?

(Moreover, I find Oku-yama gives me a truly darling nightly velvet shade when mixed with a little Zhivago)
