FPN Galileo Manuscript Brown Ordering Information

Admin

Recommended Posts

Mine came today. I inked up a 1942 Sheaffer Triumph Crest, in Brown Pearl Stripe.

Great ink, though it does feather a bit on cheaper paper - much as Gulf Stream blue and Verdun do. I will be taking it with me on a family trip to Ohio, and will give a full report when I get back.

So if you have a lot of ink,

You should get a Yink, I think.

Any new updates on shipping? My Dani Trio Mother of Black Pearl is anxious for it. I'm #81, almost there........... Sometimes my eager anticipation gets the best of me.

I'm #87, so at least someone is farther down the queue than you are. Finally "had" to fill my brown Haolilai with something else, but it can't be too much longer, I hope!

Does anyone know the status of the first batch order's shipping?

I haven't seen any updates in the shipping notices thread (here) since Nov. 29th and I'm kinda concerned about Bryan (where is he? )

I posted my query about the status of my ink order here today.

Hi,

How long is the usual wait time for this ink? I paid back on January 10 and haven't heard anything since. ohmy.gif

Hoping I'll hear soon... It looks like such a beautiful brown.

Please hold off on orders. We are working out a problem with inventory/shipping.

Thank you for your patience

Is it still possible to place an order? I thought it was a closed run like the notebooks.

If I can still get some, that would be well groovy cool.gif

Is it too early to start thinking about what color our next order of ink will be?

We will know shortly.

If there is enough demand, we can have more made. Enough demand however, is 80 bottles ohmy.gif

I'd love a bottle or two, but 80 wouldn't be worth the divorce papers.

If there was a spare bottle from the last run, I'd give it a loving, happy home...

I'm thinking a nice, vibrant blue that really pops on the paper, like Omas Roma Blue, PR American Blue, or even the newer Caran d'Ache Skies of Blue. I don't want it to dry all chalky looking like the current Luxury Blue or Polar Blue.

Of course, I know I'm in the minority here seeing as blue was overwhelmingly put down as a no go the first time.
