Noodlers Pens - Complete Lineup

This is probably beyond the scope of the review, but when the resin piston-fillers came out at a pen show-- probably the Boston Pen Show-- I remember asking after the ebonite models, because Noodler's has shown a similar pen with a nib very much like the Triumph Nib and a squeeze filler, shown with the illustration to #41 Brown:

Were these just one or two-offs?

Because I really wanted one!

Nevermind. I re-read the post and misunderstood you.

I have one of the "creaper" pens with the ventless nib, but the plastic dollar feed. I did indeed have to pull the feed and nib out and "rotate" them in the section to find the "sweet spot" where it would work the best. It vastly improved the performance of the pen. As far as the flex, when writing there is only a small amount of line variation, about .5 to 1.5mm before it starts "railing", certainly not a "wet noodle" but much better then the typical "stiff nail" present on most modern fountain pens.

Thanks Sam for the review!

it's just that nathan managed to fit a sheaffer's truimph nib in one of his ebonite aero pens.

or a triumph style nib from one of those little chinese pens.

the engraving on the nib looks like the sheaffer imprint. don't forget that nathan has experience in making nibs and feeds, so he probably modified the pen to fit the nib and feed in, maybe with an insert.
