It has been 7 months since I have polished my pen.

Here is its current status:

I use this pen regularly and my hand and shirts seem to have polished the metal parts a bit, so they haven't changes color as much as I anticipated.

The longer I have this pen, the more I like it.

Maybe ... another six months will make a difference. I won't store the pen. I will continue to use it in rotation and see how that affects the patina formation.

How are your pens?

Why carry one pen when four will do!

i'm liking the patina, it adds character to the pen. does it turn into dark brown (to black) later on?

Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing

I would love for the pen to turn green, and then it will look even better than new.

Judging by the state of excavated bronze antiquities you should achieve this effect if you bury the pen for a few years.

I have had mine for about 5 months now, never polished the bronze either. The patina is adding a nice character to the pen and this is how it looks today:

Cheers !

Its very vintage looking, beautiful.

Adsd contrast to the lava and bronze material.

Love this! Just purchased on win extra fine and look forward to seeing it slowly age. It's weird how as you get older you start to feel a little like a time traveler seeing things change around you not the seasons but cities, people, things.

Quite right.... My HS is my favorite pen over many other Italians and Germans... A joy to use daily and it gets sexier by the day! :-)

I don't like patina so not a pen for me

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time
