Sailor Jentle 'rikyu-cha'

have my order "pending shipment" for several days now at pengallery. this is disturbingly similar to what happened at swisher's. now to figure out how to cancel the order and maybe I'll try again at TWD?

I went through the same thing when I ordered from them recently. After waiting several days, I sent them a message and received a prompt response; the ink was shipped the same day. Don't worry, you'll get it.

Indeed: I sent an email last night, says it shipped this morning. Will try it monday. :)

Hi,

Thank you!

I think this is one of those inks that really does take some experimentation and experience to get the desired appearance. As mentioned, it can be a bit frustrating, but is always rewarding.

Sandy, a really great review (as always!), too bad it's an LE ink. Why does Sailor make so many wonderful LE inks, do they just want to torture us? :gaah: :roflmho:

I would love to get some, I wonder if any B&M places would still have some... :hmm1:

Edit: I just noticed this ink seems to resemble Noodler's Golden Brown, only with a bit of a green tint.

Hi,

Glad you liked the Review!

This remains one of the most interesting inks that I have encountered in quite some time.

I really don't think that Sailor intends discomfort - no more than being tickled pink. :P

Sometimes I wonder if they know what they've produced - until it enters the marketplace where all manner of papers & pens & etc. come into play.

Could it be time to start a write-in campaign, asking that certain LV/LE inks be made part of their regular offerings??

I did notice that SJRC remains on the possibles of Pen Gallery : INK LINK

(I have no idea if their site is current to the physical stock. Or just a teaser?)

Unfortunately I do not have Noodler's Golden Brown, so cannot post a comparison.

Hey, you might really be onto something. Perhaps Sailor really doesn't know how in demand their LE inks could be, and maybe writing in, or doing a petition for some of them could get them to put some into full production. I mean, I've already started to hoard Epinard!

Hi,

Well, as I've heard said, "Money talks." If one wanted an ink re-issued, perhaps approaching a Co. with cash up front would provide some motivation. (?)

(Time for an Inky Thoughts post?)
