Refills For Cross Edge

I'm thinking about one of the Cross Edge rb/bp pens because I really like the look. Does anybody have experience with these? What kinds of refills fit? I'd definitely prefer a rollerball. Will they take Pelikan, Waterman, or Monteverde refills?

They take the Cross Selectip refills. Not sure if other ones fit. The blue Gel writes very similar to a Parker

Gel in color and feel.

 

I checked the Edge out the other day in the store. It was lighter in weight than I expected.

I checked the Edge out the other day in the store. It was lighter in weight than I expected.

The jumbo rollerball refills are definitely NOT skippy. I have had the issue with Cross ball points, but the rollerball is - if anything - too free flowing. Only medium points are available in rollerball, so they provide too wide a line for me, but I'm left-handed, so like a thinner, fast drying refill.

 

They also make a porous point which does come in fine, so I may try that, but if you are concerned about flow, you should be happy with the standard rollerball.

try one refill from list, personal i like schneider topball 850 (fine/0,5mm)
