The nipple end is hollow, going straight up the metal barrel, but in no relation to the space in the barrel between it and the clear liner tube.

There is movement aka an impact tool, but not of any sort that I can ascertain it's use.

It kinda looks like something one might use to flare a rivet... or otherwise spread something wider.
