Way ahead of you.....

This is good...

Anyone like Ray Bradbury? Please read "The Laurel and Hardy Love Affair" if you have about 12 minutes.

You will not forget this wonderful gem that is largely obscure and sadly, forgotten. http://bit.ly/1DZtL4g

I gave him a Menlo Pump Filler made of Tortoise Lucite. Just like this one...IMG_0519-M.jpg

He was giving a talk at Kent State, and I managed to hand it over as he was being ushered off stage. I was like a crazy fan-girl!

Sweet, Dr. Tyson and I have the same Edison model. Lucky you getting to give that pen to him. I hope he uses it where someone gets a photo and posts it here.

Oh that would be amazing! Anytime that I see a clip of him in his office, I'm pausing and dissecting every frame, looking for the Menlo!

The author Neil Gaiman also signs books (and writes their first drafts) with various fountain pens. I've seen multiple pictures of his Pilot Custom 823.

I'm guessing if you have to sign thousands of books a day, a fountain pen (versus a ball point) is essential if you want to avoid major writer's cramp. I suppose that Tyson, being a scientist, is the sort of person you'd expect to have inquired into the question, and discovered the fountain pen solution.
