Wow! An amazing article! Thanks for sharing. I'm searching for a new fountain pen, something more fancy than the ones I have so far. This info helped a lot!

Thank you. Though I don't yet own a Pelikan, I find them a very attractive pen. Now knowing the history adds even more to my desire to find one I can afford.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, Wow, what a ride!
