Sxc7885,

I also just picked up the 2013 POA. You will love it. The nib is smooth and the ink flow perfect (for me anyway). I bought some Toffee Brown to go with it.

Thanks. I can't wait for tomorrow so it will arrive. I'm considering some lavender purple or Hitchcock red ink. Have any pictures. Haven't really seen anyone review it on here like they do with most pens

Many congratulations Konis. Really appreciate the fact that you photographed the pen so well, and with the catalogue reference

As for me, at long, long last I have managed to track down and acquire an L73 :) (pity they don't have a 'giggling like a school girl' emoticon!).

This fabulous pencil is on its way to me and even comes complete with its original box! I have wanted to find one of these for sooooooooooooooooooo long. Can't wait to see it beside my L71 and L72. Should be with me this week :cloud9:

Here's my POA 2013. Taken with an iPad so not the best pics, but you get the idea. Also, I really like the Hitchcock ink and it currently resides in my WE Poe. I thought it was more suitable there. The Sforza has a nice weight to it similar to the new sterling silver barley FP.

This one I'm really excited for...a near mint 138 with a long ink window. I'll post a pic when it arrives.

Montblanc desk pen set Nr I/204.

Now that's what I call a piston knob!

Pen looks like a 254 with modified piston knob for desk set? Those wing nibs are superb writers.

Very nice. Congratulations.

All original mid 80's 149 with a lovely XF/F nib and split ebonite feed. These mid 80's with the ebonite feeds are a joy to write with. :bunny01:

Exactly !
I not have MB 254, but I have MB 252.
MB 254 is bigger like Mb 252, and it have barrel MB 204 size.

My most recent MB purchase is a hard to find Tiger's Eye 242 (ca.1950) that writes smoothly as only vintage MBs do.

Here is my 138 which is currently filled with Toffee Brown. I'm much better at street photography than I am at taking photographs of objects so I hope these aren't too bad. I don't have a macro lens so I can't get up close to the nib.

I love this pen. In the short time I have had it, it has become my favorite pen. Its nib is amazing, unlike any other nib I have both vintage and modern. I'm trying to figure out its date of production but its a little hard for me. It resembles wartime 138s I've seen on penboard.de but it also resembles early post-war 138s on penboard.de. The nib is not a screw-in and the pen has the telescopic piston mechanism but the body and cap feel like celluloid and have that feeling celluloid pens have. This is my first 13x series as I only have ventured into the 23x series before this. I'd appreciate any help.

Timeless elegant design! It looks in excellent condition. The nib is pretty large, looks like a true 138 nib and not a 136 as some postwar 138 pens are alleged to sport. I understand the the long ink-view is characteristic of rather earlier Meisterstücks, but I'm no expert. Is the nib made of gold, palladium alloy or two-tone steel? a medium point?

Congrats ... again!!

Thank you Carlos! The nib is a steel-alloy nib and though the blind cap is stamped medium it writes quite a bit finer. Moreover, the nib has amazing flexibility easily going from EF/F to BB. I never thought a steel nib could be soooo good.
